Detroit family displaced after house fire

PIKE COUNTY, ILL. -- A Detroit, Illinois family is without a home this weekend after a fire ripped through their residence Friday.

A passerby reported a house on fire at 107 N. Green St. around midnight Friday. Its residents were not home at the time and no injuries were reported.

The Pittsfield Fire Department, along with Milton and Griggsville fire crews helped contain the fire.
