YWCA honors this year's Women of Achievement

QUINCY, IL -- The YWCA's 21st annual Women of Acheivement Gala honored women who have contributed to the community Saturday evening. Five women were honored for their accomplishements, contributions to the community, and ability to overcome obstacles.

This year's women of acheivement are:

Sara Cramer- Woman of Excellence in Education

Nancy Bluhm- Woman Moving Heathcare Forward

Minnie Johnson- The Phoenix Award

Elizabeth "Itty" Sholz- Woman of Impact

Breanne Meyer- Young Woman of Achievement

The gala was held at the Oakley Lindsay Center and featured 60s era dance performance, auctions, and the YWCA Gala Giveaway Raffle. The top prize is $5,000.

400 tickets were sold for the gala to honor this year's Women of Acievement and raise money for the YWCA. The YWCA has honored more than 200 women for their accomplishments over the years.
