Bushnell man dies in weekend crash

A 28-year-old Bushnell man died early Sunday morning due to injuries suffered in a car crash.

Scott McGrew was eastbound on County Road North 1900 in rural Bushnell about 3:20 a.m. Sunday when his car left the road and struck a concrete culvert.

McGrew was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The Illinois State Police and the McDonough County Sheriff's Office investigated the crash. It's not known what caused the 2009 Toyota Corolla to leave the roadway.

The matter is still under investigation.
