(AP) -- U.S. Senator Mark Kirk has been released from a Chicago rehabilitation center where he had been recovering from a stroke.

Kirk's office says the Illinois Republican has recovered to the point where he can move home with his family.

This picture has been released from his staff.

Kirk suffered a stroke in January and moved to the rehab center in February.
