Goodwill to open store in Keokuk

A global charity retailer is setting its sights on Keokuk

KEOKUK, IOWA -- A global charity retailer is setting its sights on Keokuk.

According to the Keokuk Daily Gate City, Goodwill Industries has offered the city 260 thousand dollars for three lots between the Hampton Inn and Sonic.

The area is slated to be the site of Goodwill's newest store.

A public hearing on the sale is slated for May 17.

Goodwill already has a store open in Hannibal.
