QUINCY, ILL. -- According to Quincy's Fire Chief Joe Henning, the investigation of the Doyle Manufacturing fire has concluded.

The fire was determined to be accidental in nature.

The five-alarm fire at 4001 Broadway that started shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday was visible from areas all over the Tri-States.

The fire began in the the east side of the building that housed the blasting and powder coating. That building is a total loss and Doyle Manufacturing has no plans to rebuild.

No one was seriously hurt in the fire, though Quincy's Assistant Fire Chief, Tom Bentley, said two firefighters had minor injuries from moving equipment at the scene.
