BURLINGTON, IOWA (AP) -- The Des Moines County Iowa Sheriff's Department is investigating a home invasion Wednesday night north of Burlington that injured at least two people.
The department says there were called to an area near the Flint Hills Golf Course on 90th Avenue just after 9 p.m. to a reported home invasion and attempted robbery.
According to police, the suspects forced their way into the home were an altercation took place. One was person was shot during the incident.
That victim was taken to the Great River Medical Center. The incident remains under investigation
