ADAMS COUNTY, ILL. -- The Adams County Sheriff's Department is investigating a one car crash.

A black Dodge Caliber was found wrecked in an area of trees at the I-72 off-ramp to IL-96.

Adams County Deputies were called to scene around 6:13 a.m. Saturday by a passing motorist.

When they arrived no one was inside the car.

The registered owner of the vehicle reported it stolen an hour before it was found wrecked.
