QUINCY, ILL. -- Police from several agencies came together to support the Special Olympics Tuesday morning.

Officers from the Adams County Sheriff's Office, Quincy Police, and Illinois State police carried the torch to the Hancock County Line.

There, they handed it off to police agencies to continue the run through Carthage and Macomb.

The torch is set to end up in Bloomington on Friday for the opening of the Illinois Special Olympics Summer Games.
