QUINCY, ILL. -- The city of Quincy is trying to keep the dream of a hydro power plant alive at two lock and dams.

The Quincy Herald Whig reports the city has filed an amended application for a hydro plant at Clarksville, Missouri.

The city council does not expect this will cost any more money.

If the permit is approved, Quincy would get a three year extension on a feasibility study of the lock and dam.
