RALLS COUNTY, MO. -- A state audit of Ralls County, Missouri has come back with a couple of dings, and the county is already working to fix them.

The Hannibal Courier Post reports the audit shows the county pays the Prosecuting Attorney an extra $14,400 to consult for the planning and zoning commission.

The State Auditor says that should be part of the Prosecuting Attorney's job anyway.

The audit also shows the sheriff's department needs to keep better records of its receipts.
