Hannibal power outage a mystery

HANNIBAL, MO. -- Crews from the Hannibal Board of Public Works are investigating the cause of a power outage that affected some neighborhoods Monday morning.

The outage was reported about 6:05 a.m. in the vicinity of 6th and Bird streets near downtown Hannibal.

The cause of the outage is unknown, but power was restored to the area in about 50 minutes.

More than 100 customers were affected.
