BARRY, ILL. -- The Barry YMCA will open its doors Aug. 1.
The Quincy Family YMCA Association scheduled an open house beginning at 5 p.m. July 18.
Hannibal native Scott Croft will serve as the brand director of what will be known as the Western Community Center YMCA.
The center will have an aerobics center, wellness center, child care nursery and two family changing rooms and showers.
Memberships will be available for purchase the night of the open house.
Family memberships are $45 per month. Adult memberships are $30 per month. Active older adult memberships are $27 per month. Teen memberships for people ages 12-18 are $15 per month.
