HANNIBAL, MO. -- Hannibal has a new Tom and Becky.
Brooke Burton and Lucas Cline received the infamous kiss on the cheek from last year's Tom and Becky, Jessica Taylor and Logan Locke, Wednesday afternoon.
They, along with the eight other finalists, braved the afternoon heat in a crowd of hundreds as they made their final pitch to be the official Tom and Becky.
All 10 Tom and Becky contestants will serve as Hannibal ambassadors all year long.
The contest is part of the 57th Annual National Tom Sawyer days continuing this week in Hannibal.
Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher are the romantic center of Mark Twain's classic novel "Adventures of Tom Sawyer."
