Police arrest suspect in Louisiana, Mo. fire

LOUISIANA, MO. -- Louisiana, Missouri police have arrested a suspect in connection with a July fourth house fire.

According to the Louisiana Press Journal, firefighters were called to a home at North Carolina and Seventh streets just after the fireworks ended Wednesday night.

No one was in the home at the time. The home belongs to a city council member, who does not live at the house.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating. 

According to the Louisiana Press Journal, police have arrested someone for the suspicious fire. However the suspect's identity has not been revealed.
