Bikers competing in the Sports Division of the Spring Lake Singletrack Classic.
MACOMB, ILL. -- Dozens of Macomb bikers hit the trails Sunday at Spring Lake Park.
The Macomb Area Cycling Club hosted the third annual Spring Lake Singletrack Classic.
There were five different races based on age and experience.
One of the most competitive and difficult races was the Sports Division. It featured a 16-mile course.
An Expert Division was also held. Those riders completed a 24-mile course.
The race was part of the Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association race series.
"It's definitely grown in that last three years," Andy Percy, Spring Lake Singletrack Classic director said. "Our first year hardly anybody knew about it, but now that we're part of the race series across all of Illinois we're getting people from the Chicago area, Davenport, Springfield and Jacksonville."
The classic also had a Novice Division which consists of an eight-mile course.
And there was a Junior Division and a kids run.
