Replaces the retiring Ron Dreyer

Lt. Dennis Bingheim promoted to Deputy Chief of QPD.

QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Police Department has a new  Deputy Chief of Police.

Lt. Dennis Bingheim will take over those duties.

Bingheim replaces Ron Dreyer who retired.

Lt. Bingheim has served in a number of roles since joining the department in 1980.

He is a native of Centralia, Illinois.

Lt. Bingheim will take over his new duties on August 1st.
