Grass fire at 30th and Wisman Lane keeps crews busy

The fire started at about 2:45 p.m. near the intersection of 30th and Wisman Lane.

QUINCY, ILL. -- Firefighters from Tri-Township and the Quincy Fire Department responded to a grass fire Thursday.

The fire started at about 2:45 p.m. near the intersection of 30th and Wisman Lane.

The crews battled the blaze for about an hour.

The cause was not known as of Thursday afternoon.
