LIBERTY, ILL. -- A Liberty woman was hurt in a one vehicle accident on Highway 104 Thursday evening.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reports that 25-year-old Amanda Higdon was traveling west shortly before 7:30 p.m. when she ran off the south side of the road and hit a tree.

She was taken to the hospital by ambulance with moderate to serious injuries.
