FORT MADISON, IOWA -- Four suspected meth cooks in Ft. Madison face felony drug charges after being arrested in a cemetery.

Police arrested 36 year-old Connie Martin of 2610 Avenue J, 49 year-old Andrew Decker of 2803 Avenue L, 29 year-old Angel Daniels of 1402 31st Street and Sherri Beames of 2620 Avenue I, all of Fort Madison.

Police responded to the Hillcrest Cemetery Sunday after reports of a possible trespassing incident.  When officers arrived at the cemetery they saw the foursome, with one of them holding a bag with meth making materials.

All four individuals are charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine in Excess of Five Grams, a class B felony. If convicted, they could face up to 25 years in prison.

The Lee County Attorney's Office and the Fort Madison Police Department assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.
