A Clayton man died as the result of a wasp sting over the weekend.

Adams County Coroner James Keller said a wasp stung 36-year-old Jason Tangerose, while mowing his yard Saturday.

Tangerose had a severe allergy to bee and wasp stings and carried an EpiPen with him at all times. But he soon went into anaphylactic shock and was pronounced dead at Blessing Hospital on Monday.
