HANNIBAL, MO. -- Marion and Ralls County kids got a head start to to the school year Saturday.
The fifth annual Back to School Health Fair was held at the Hannibal Regional Medical Campus.
More than one-thousand students were able to get free health, dental, hearing and vision screenings.
This event was sponsored in part by the Families And Communities Together agency.
"They actually can get their child really looked at to see if they need to see the doctor for real right before school, and it's a good test for them to be able to see what their child's needs are to be successful this school year," F.A.C.T. Chief Executive Officer, Stephanie Thomeczk said.
