City of LaGrange terminates administrator and officer

LAGRANGE, MO. -- The City of LaGrange is looking for a new city administrator and police officer.

Monday night, the LaGrange city council voted to dismiss current City Administrator Mark Campbell and police officer Jason Powell.

Mayor Ronnie Powers told KHQA the city council wanted to take a different direction and decided these terminations was a step in the right direction.

The decision is effective immediately.

Powers said the city will begin taking applications for the two positions immediately.
