MENDON, ILL. -- A Mendon woman is in jail Wednesday morning facing federal drug charges.

The Hancock County Sheriff says 25-year-old Jessica Kendrick was arrested Monday on a charge of conspiracy to make meth.

She was arrested in Quincy and taken to the Hancock County Jail pending transfer to the U.S. Marshal's office in Peoria.

Her arrest was part of an ongoing federal investigation ... with more related arrests pending.

Kendrick's arrest resulted from an ongoing multi-jurisdictional meth-related investigation involving the Hancock County Sheriff's office, Hamilton Police Department, Warsaw Police Department, Illinois State Police, Lee County (Iowa) Narcotics Task Force, Hancock County state's attorney and the U.S. central district attorney's office.
