Hannibal National Guard Company schedules homecoming

Missouri Army National Guardsmen of the Hannibal-based 2175th Military Police Company are back stateside after a year overseas.

Nearly 130 soldiers arrived at Camp Shelby, Miss. Sunday morning and are scheduled to make their return to Hannibal Saturday.

Details of the homecoming ceremony are still pending.

The company was stationed as part of a base security deployment to Qatar in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Qatar serves as the central staging area and recreation area for all U.S. Troops in the Middle East.
