Quincy Police catch suspect on the run

QUINCY, ILL. -- A man wanted on two warrants is in custody after a pursuit with Quincy police Thursday.

The Quincy Police Department was in pursuit of Jeremy J. Woodson, 25, of Columbia, Mo.

The three-block chase started after an officer approached Woodson at the Frederick Ball public housing projects.

The chase ended near the Blessing Child Care Center where police caught him as he tried to scale the fence.

Woodson is wanted on a failure to appear warrant in Marion County and an active warrant for unlawful delivery of an uncontrolled substance.

He is currently in the Adams County Jail.
