Cargill in contract negotiations with workers' union

BEARDSTOWN, ILL. -- Beardstown's Cargill plant is still in negotiations with its union, despite two rejected contract offers.

According to the Cass County Star Gazette, the United Food and Commercial Workers 431continue to work under terms of the old contract, though it expired weeks ago.

Beardstown's Cargill plant processes pork for distribution all over the world.
