QPD takes over 20 reports of vandalism

QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Police Department is asking for your help in trying to solve a case of spray paint vandalism that hit parts of the city late Saturday night and into early Sunday morning.

Most of the cases of the vandalism involved mailboxes being spray painted with various or various forms of crude graffiti.

In one case a garbage dumpster was spray painted as well.

The police department took over 20 reports of the vandalism.

Most of the incidents happened east of 24th Street.

If you have any details that could help police make an arrest you're asked to call either the Quincy Police Department at 217-224-4470 or the Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers at 217-228-4474.
