MCDONOUGH COUNTY, ILL. -- The business manager of the McDonough County Health Department has been arrested for stealing more than $20,000 from the department.

The McDonough County Voice reports Penny Thompson of Bushnell is charged with felony theft for allegedly taking money ten times between May of 2010 and July of this year.

Thompson has a preliminary hearing September 12th.
