QUINCY, ILL. -- Ever thought about attending law school but didn't want to commit the time or money?
You might be interested in what's called the People's Law School coming up at Quincy University.
It's a series of six class sessions presented by local attorneys and judges.
The general public can learn about various legal topics ranging from estate planning to divorce and child custody disputes.
"Take the opportunity to come out and do it," Presenter Michael Bickhaus said. "I think you'll learn something. Hopefully, it'll be a little fun, too. Some of those misconceptions you might have gotten from TV dramas, you might be able to resolve some of those things."
The first class starts September 18th and will continue every Tuesday for six weeks.
The sessions will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at North Campus Auditorium at 18th & Seminary Road in Quincy.
