Stranger approaches Keokuk student; spurs concern

KEOKUK, IOWA -- Police in Keokuk are searching for a man who approached a female Keokuk High School student Wednesday afternoon.

The student was walking between classes about 1 p.m. when a white male in his 60s or 70s and approached her and began asking her questions that made her uncomfortable.

Keokuk police said that man has gray hair and was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a dark green mini-van with tan interior.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Keokuk Police Department at 319-524-3132.
