Local woman killed in ATV crash

CLAYTON, ILL. -- An Adams County woman is dead Friday morning after a late night ATV accident near Clayton.

The accident occurred at 2950 N. 920th Pl. in Clayton, on property owned by Golden Triangle Whitetails.

Adams County Sheriff's Deputies said Sarah Birsic, 25, died at Blessing Hospital this morning from injuries she suffered while riding as a passenger on an ATV.

Driver Andrew Koster, 30, of Michigan, was charged with aggravated DUI and is currently being held in the Adams County Jail.

Koster was uninjured.
