MACOMB, ILL. -- The Macomb School District faces a big budget deficit for the year.

Five hundred thousand dollars of that deficit stems from a last minute reduction in state aid.

Meanwhile the district is dealing with reductions in state payments to cover special education, early childhood and transportation.
