HANNIBAL, MO. -- Two Missouri men were arrested on charges that they fled from police during a drug investigation.

Jack Finney, 28, of Hannibal, and Robert L. Ledbetter, 49, of Center are charged with interfering.

Hannibal Police were investigating a report of a possible drug sale about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Church Street.

When officers arrived they noticed two men walking away from the home. When the officers tried to make contact with the two men, they ran, according to a Hannibal Police Department release.

Both men were arrested after a short foot chase. Both were arrested.

Ledbetter was also held on an active warrant for stalking. He was placed in the Marion County Jail where he remains on a $750 cash-only bond.
