QUINCY, ILL. -- Mitt Romney supporters gathered Wednesday night to cheer on their candidate at the first debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney.
WTAD Radio hosted the event at the Blind Pig Bar in Quincy.
Both men took on the two of the biggest issues facing americans today, healthcare and the economy.
Some people watched the debates from the bar, others watched from a specially set up viewing room.
Before the debate we asked one Romney supporter what she wanted to hear from her candidate.
"I want to hear how the economy is going to benefit. We need to get more jobs. We need to focus on getting better jobs in this area, definitely, but also across the country," Sally Blickhan said. "And I want to hear, I want hear how that's going to happen."
You will get two more chances to hear Obama and Romney debate the important issues of this campaign on October 16th and 22nd.
The Vice Presidential debate will be on October 11th.
If you attended a different event to view the Wednesday night debate, we'd love to hear from you, too! Post your comments below or post them on our Facebook page here.
