LEE COUNTY, IOWA -- Two men have been arrested after leading police on chase through two counties.

15-year-old Demarius Johnson of Coralville and 21-year-old Devon Kent face theft charges after stealing a car at a gas station in Burlington.

Police say they took off, leading authorities on a chase to Lee County where they crashed the car near the County Road J-40 bypass.

The duo got out of the car and ran.

They were later arrested after hiding in a nearby creek bed.
