KEOKUK, IOWA -- If you use the area around Keokuk High School, you know how dangerous it can be in regards to parking.

The city is ready to help fix the problem.

According to Tri-State Public Radio, the city council is waiting for a formal proposal from the police chief and the problem is parking during special events.

The principal told Tri-State Public Radio that people park where they are not supposed to and then leave their cars there.

Recently, one student was bumped by a car. That student was fine.
