Wind and trees suspected cause of outage
QUINCY, IL. -- Thirty-eight hundred Adams Electric Cooperative customers lost power early Thursday evening.
According to the company's website customers served by substations in Quincy, Adams, Burton and Kellerville were affected.
The Quincy station got it's power on first, but the others were delayed for awhile as crews dealt with a fault on the line.
Damage from wind or trees may have been the cause of the outage.
