Quincy man arrested for production, possession of child pornography

QUINCY, ILL. -- Quincy police arrested a man on charges of producing and possessing child pornography Thursday.

Eric W. Ahearn, 40, of 504 1/2 S. 8th, was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation begun by the Quincy Police Department in April of 2012.

The minor was under 13 years of age.

Ahearn remains lodged in the Adams County Jail.
