An 18-year-old Quincy man was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with burglary to a vehicle.

Around 1:40 a.m. the Quincy police spotted Zachary Boyer inside a vehicle in the 600 block of South 43rd Street.

When officers tried to confront Boyer, he ran away and briefly escaped into the woods.

Boyer was released on a notice to appear.

The police are continuing to investigate the incident.
