QUINCY, ILL. -- Close to three hundred people packed into St. Dominic's School in Quincy Saturday evening to raise funds for a local non-profit.
The third annual Birthright Trivia Night included celebrity lifelines, food, a silent auction and dozens of Birthright volunteers.
Birthright has served the Quincy community for 39 years as a free and confidential crisis pregnancy center. The organization runs strictly on donations and volunteers which makes fund raisers like this extremely important.
"I've been a Birthright volunteer for 30 years. We help a lot of women and girls that are confused and scared and really don't know what to do. Many of them don't have family support. They range from 12-years-old to 40. So, we're there to support them in time of crisis," Patty Adam, director of the Birthright in Quincy said.
Last year's Birthright Trivia Night brought in about $4,000. There's no goal for this year, but the turnout topped the two previous trivia nights.
You can find Birthright at 1200 Broadway in Quincy, as well as online and on Facebook.
