Water ordinance to be considered in Clarksville

Clarksville may start billing differently for water service January first.

Rates aren't going up. In fact, customers will pay slightly less than they did before.

Customers pay for each one thousand gallons they use.

Under the proposed plan, customers will pay a flat rate for the first one thousand gallons and just two dollars and 31 cents for each 250 gallons after that.

Aldermen will consider the ordinance on December 20th.
