SHELBYVILLE, MO. -- A North Shelby School District bus overturned Thursday morning near Shelbyville as a result of slick road conditions.

Superintendent Paul Sulser said the district was planning to dismiss classes at 11 a.m. today. As a result of the bus crash, the district will keep buses off the roadways until they are deemed safe to travel.

A female student was threated at the scene, Sulser said. There were 38 students on the bus at the time of the crash.

Anyone with questions should contact the high school office at 573-633-2410 or the elementary school office at 573-633-2401.
