KEOKUK, IOWA -- One Keokuk family decided to decorate their home for the holidays a little differently this year.

Jeff Dresser created a light memorial to commemorate the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy.

Dresser and his brother-in-law set up the lights in the shape of a cross. At the top is a star, followed with the word Newtown, and lit up angels for each life lost in the shooting.

Dresser said it's important to honor the lives lost, because it could have happened anywhere.
