HANNIBAL, MO. -- Hannibal Fire Department investigators are searching for the cause of a house fire Saturday morning.

Hannibal firefighters arrived at the home, at 1806 Ruby St., just before 6 a.m. They reported seeing fire coming out of the front window. In all, five fire trucks and 10 firefighters responded to the scene.

The fire was under control just before 9 a.m.

Much of the house received heavy fire, water and smoke damage. One person was living at the home, but the Hannibal Fire Department says no one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently undetermined.
