Quincy woman arrested after early morning stabbing

QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend early Sunday morning.

The Quincy Police Department responded to 518 Oak St. at 3:11 a.m. and found a 29-year-old male with a stab wound on his back.

After further investigation, police arrested 24-year-old Carlisa J. Fears for allegedly stabbing her live-in boyfriend.

The man was taken to the Blessing Hospital emergency room.

Fears faces a charge of aggravated domestic battery and was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
