LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- Three suspects were arrested in following a multi-jurisdictional three month long investigation into thefts in the Lewis County area.

Police arrested Joseph Worrell, 23, and his wife Ida Worrell, 20, both of Hannibal. Also arrested is Ryan Gooding, 41, of Monroe City.

All three are charged with felony stealing and are being held under $30,000 bond.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, the three suspects are accused of stealing a large amount of stainless steel livestock feeders and watering systems from a swine production operation near Monticello, Mo.

They then allegedly sold the stolen items to area salvage operations in both Missouri and Illinois.

The stolen items were valued at nearly $40,000.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
