A Quincy man is in jail after he was caught driving a stolen vehicle while under the influence, Quincy police said.

Casey Mayes, 21, is charged with driving a stolen vehicle, driving with a revoked license and driving under the influence.

Police responded to an 11 p.m. crash near the intersection of 5th and Locust streets.

Mayes was northbound in the 1600 block of N. 5th Street when he crossed the center line and struck two parked vehicles, police said.

He fled on foot but police located him and brought him back to the scene, according to the report.

The investigation revealed that the truck was stolen.
