SPRINGFIELD, ILL. (AP) -- Molly Reeves of Danville has been crowned the 2008 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen.

Reeves competed Sunday evening in Springfield as Miss Georgetown Fair and was chosen among 67 contestants. She will appear at both the Illinois State Fair and DuQuoin State Fair in August.

Reeves is a student in art and fashion design at Illinois College in Jacksonville. She says her goal is to start her own clothing line and donate a percentage of profits to charity.

Reeves says she looks forward to promoting Illinois agriculture over the next year.
