Son found in apartment unharmed

EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. (AP) -- Officials say they don't know what killed a Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville student from Quincy last week.

Police discovered 24-year-old Tifani Wilder dead inside her campus apartment Thursday along with her five-year-old son who was unharmed.

Initial autopsy results last week were inconclusive.

Campus police say the death doesn't appear suspicious, and that there was no sign anyone forced their way into the apartment.

Wilder was a junior majoring in psychology.
